Here's a spot for me to ... talk about myself. Skip this page for your own good, probably. I am annoying.
In the fandom, I go by the name Meros and I've been considering myself a furry since late 2016. If I had known what furry was, I probably would have identified as one since birth. I grew up fairly typical furry-adjacent interests (like Warrior Cats, pokemon, Lego Chima, Animal Jam, and the like) so on that one fateful day when a video of Amai Fanda dancing to Death of a Bachelor came up on my Musical.ly feed of all places, it was only natural for me to immediately think "Holy shit, that needs to be me in that costume." Since then, I've been drawing, sewing, taking photos, and posting content in the online furry fandom. I've been attending in-person furry events since Pawcon 2023.
My fursona (like I said above) is named Meros, and he's a tan rabbit. The first three years I spent in the fandom, I had new fursonas nearly every other month, trying to find the "right" one for me, but it ended up being just not something that could be forced. In 2019, while on a family trip, I had drawn a red dragon in one of my sketchbooks and had instantly started brainstorming what story I could fit this character in. I had had a different fursona at the time, a brown dragon named Juno who I had (quite proudly) called my fursona for a few months at that point, the longest at that time I had stuck with a character. I could not get this red dragon character out of my mind, though. That dragon eventually become two seperate characters: a dragon named Irius from a personal story I have been working on for years at this point, and my fursona Meros! Meros was a dragon until sometime in 2021 when Instagram started showing me a bunch of rabbit content and I impulsively switched his species. Looking back on it though, rabbits and their picky, finnicky, and destructive nature fit me far better than being a dragon did.
I have always loved art. I got into digital art around 2017, and got my first drawing tablet in either late 2018 or 2019. Outside of drawing, I also love sewing. I had been constructing fursuits out of entirely hot glue before 2019 before I finally learned to hand sew. Since then, I have loved hand sewing exclusively. Every fursuit you've seen me make, and my fullsuit you can catch me running around in sometimes were all fully handsewn. Outside of sewing and drawing, I enjoy most forms of art. If I haven't tried them yet, they are likely on my long, long list of art mediums to start experimenting with.
I also collect old technology, though I have downsized my collection. When my collection was bigger, I focused mainly on older Apple products and digicams. I hold a fondness for PDAs, but never expanded my collection to include them. I helped my buddy WereRogue host "The Compu-taur Lab" panel at Further Confusion 2024, where we hosted a space for other retro tech enthusiasts to bring their toys for others to play with. I feel like my interest in old tech also shines through in my website style and the appeal in the indie web to me!
I am also, very, VERY big into Minecraft. I don't care much for video games past learning how they work (Pokemon and Spore are an exception to this, I do like those two games.) I have had a Minecraft world I have been playing on since October 2025 that you can view here. If I'm not drawing, sewing, working on my website, or out at an in person event, I am on Minecraft.
Other crap you can talk to me in person about are politics and zero-waste efforts, Webkinz, music and concerts (anything garage-adjacent), Wings of Fire, manga, and Trolls (2016).
